Hey, I’m Genevieve. Wife. Mom of 4. Corporate exec. Entrepreneur. 40-something. Haitian-American. And someone who does not do anything the hard way if there’s a better one.
I have a full-time career in corporate communications and PR, and I mean full-time. I’m not winding down, stepping back, or pivoting away. I’m still in the rooms, still on the stages, still doing the work at the highest level. That’s not changing. What I’ve figured out is how to do it without letting everything else fall apart around me, and without disappearing as a person in the process.
At home, I’m a wife and the mom of four kids who are all wildly different. I show up there the way I want to, present and engaged, not just physically in the building. I’m not going to pretend that balancing all of it is seamless. But I work at it, I enjoy it, and it is a priority. That part is not going anywhere.
I started creating content because I wanted community. I wanted to find other women doing the same kind of juggling act, the career, the kids, the relationships, a social life, whatever that looks like for you, and willing to be honest about what it actually looks like. What started as a place to share tips turned into something I didn’t expect: a real conversation with real people who needed to hear that they weren’t alone in it.
This blog is the longer version of everything I post. The stories that need more than a caption. The advice I’ve earned the hard way. The real picture of a life that looks a lot like yours, full, complicated, and worth every bit of it.
